Voice of Rail Engineers

SPECIAL INAUGURAL ISSUE

January-February. 2007

With this issue, IRTSA launches its official journal under the new title -- “Voice of Rail Engineersinstead of theThe Rail Supervisor– which had completed 36 years of its publication. While the change of name has been done on account of popular demand by the Members, the role of “The Rail Supervisor” over the last three and a half decades, in keeping the Members informed about all the related developments and highlighting the problems and sentiments of the Engineers / Technical Supervisors on the Railways, shall always be recalled, especially by those who have been associated closely with the movement over all these years. It had become almost a house hold name with most of us.

Change is the law of the nature; and we must also change with the times. What is required is will to move forward to achieve our objectives.

“Voice of Rail Engineers” dedicates itself to the cause of the Engineers on the Indian Railways- not only to keep them fully informed about developments in various areas of concern, including the administrative decision the related issues and to highlight their problems effectively but also to be a part of their on going struggle.
