years of its publication. While the change of name has been done on
account of popular demand by the Members, the role of “The Rail
Supervisor” over the last three and a half decades, in keeping the Members
informed about all the related developments and highlighting the problems
and sentiments of the Engineers / Technical Supervisors on the Railways,
shall always be recalled, especially by those who have been associated
closely with the movement over all these years. It had become almost a
house hold name with most of us.
Change is the law of the nature; and we must also
change with the times. What is required is will to move forward to achieve
our objectives.
“Voice of Rail Engineers” dedicates itself to
the cause of the Engineers on the Indian Railways- not only to keep them
fully informed about developments in various areas of concern, including
the administrative decision the related issues and to highlight their
problems effectively but also to be a part of their on going struggle.
